Children are born with a sense of wonder. The purpose of drama is to nurture and develop that natural sense into a controlled awareness on stage: to have the guts to act your heart out! Learners develop self-confidence through the awareness of their own - and their peers’- abilities and potential. Drama is not a purely stylised, outwardly acquired technique, but an inner motivation and understanding of character, place and time.
